Hello all! I’m Katherine Kuehne (key-nee), a children’s book illustrator and art educator currently based in San Antonio, Texas. I have my B.F.A. in Communication Design and I’m currently working on my M.A. in Communication Arts. I have worked professionally in graphic design and illustration for nearly 15 years now and am now focused on sharing my insight and passion with students. By day I work with media and design students in higher education and by night I make everything you see here!

A few of my favorite things include: mermaids, manatees, Moomins, and all things magical!
